The Eurojackpot: How the jackpot reaches record levels
If no player picks the numbers for the top prize in Eurojackpot, the money that would normally be paid out as the top prize is saved for the next draw.
This jackpot then grows from draw to draw until it reaches the current cap of €120 million.
That means the jackpot increases until it hits this maximum and then remains there
until someone picks the right numbers and wins it (current jackpot – see banner).
Eurojackpot providers authorized in Germany (White List)
Did the current jackpot make you curious and you clicked our banner?
Want to try your luck? Then choose a provider authorized on the White List
(you will only find such providers across our site). If you submit a ticket with one of the listed providers,
e.g., on the official site LOTTO.de
(a joint offering of all 16 state lottery companies united in the German Lotto and Totoblock),
your stakes will be forwarded to the state lottery company of your federal state (as required by law).
As the table below shows, depending on your state of residence,
it may be worth playing your tickets online via LOTTO.de or Lottobay.de.
Eurojackpot price comparison: Leading online providers
As with our other price comparisons: the Lotto price comparison (state Lotto in Germany, “6 out of 49”), the Keno price comparison (state Keno “10 out of 20 out of 70”, now playable in all German states), and the Glücksspirale price comparison, we examined the fee systems of state-licensed providers in Germany
to offer visitors an objective comparison of the respective processing fees or extra costs for playing online (kiosk prices can vary further). Often, playing online is even cheaper than at a traditional kiosk, as the comparison below shows. For the record,
all information is without guarantee of completeness and accuracy; please verify independently if in doubt.
All data were taken from providers’ current websites*. Processing fees may change at short notice.
To mitigate gambling risks, most providers require customer cards.

In general, the processing fee per ticket for Eurojackpot is roughly the same as the provider’s Lotto processing fee. Some providers do not offer Eurojackpot at all.
As the table shows, the state lottery portals of Baden‑Württemberg, Hesse, and Mecklenburg‑Western Pomerania have the lowest processing fees. For players in other federal states, private state-licensed retailers such as lottobay.de can be conditionally recommended.

What to do after a lottery win
Short guide for lottery winners – how to act when luck strikes
You picked the right numbers — suddenly, life changes. A lot of money and the chance to start anew. But how should you handle it? Many winners struggle to be happy with their windfall.
Here’s a short guide for lottery winners:
Stay grounded!
Six quick tips for winners:
1. Stay calm. Don’t act rashly. Big changes should be well considered — you have time.
2. Think carefully whom to tell and share with. Experts suggest informing only one or two very close people.
3. Keep a low profile. Enjoy your luck quietly — don’t park a brand-new supercar out front right away.
4. Beware shopping sprees. Nice things will still be there later. If you feel out of control, seek professional support. Large fortunes can disappear surprisingly fast.
5. Don’t quit your job immediately. Reflect on your goals. Work can bring purpose, recognition, and community — not just income.
6. Be cautious with financial advisers. Prefer reputable institutions. Many winners have lost fortunes to smooth-talking “experts.”
